The voting for the next round of the Live Wired competition starts again tomorrow.

Proximity Effect by Oscar MayThere will be ten Island bands hoping to get enough votes from the public to put them on the shortlist and the five that make it through, will go on to battle it out in a live heat with winners from the previous round, Cozy Flashbak and The Kurves.

So who’s on the list this time?

Step forward Proximity Effect (pictured by Oscar May), The Majortones, Fuzzy Digitz, Arcane, Electro Magnetic Workshop, Driving South, Revenge of the Lawn, 14” Remotes, The Eternal Flame and Luc Valvona and Friends

Voting finishes on 17th February, but don’t rush into it tomorrow – many of the bands are playing live over the next couple of weeks and some have tracks on the new Wight Trash Transitions Vol 2 CD, so you might want to see them in person or hear more than one track before deciding their fate.

The winner will of course, gain their place on the main stage of the Isle of Wight Festival later this year.

Check out the County Press Website from tomorrow to listen to tracks.
