Tree Works on Ocean View Road / Mitchell Avenue
Sunday, 25th January, 2009 at 12:16 pm, Isle of Wight
David Mears the South Wight Warden, has posted a message to the VB forum which should be of interest to anyone driving out of Ventnor via Mitchelll Ave./Ocean View Road on 26th January.
The National Trust will be commencing roadside tree works (and vegetation cutting) along our boundary with Ocean View Road on 26th January. Once this work is completed we will be moving along to Mitchell Avenue.
To facilitate this work we will be operating temporary traffic lights and have requested the police restrict parking either side of the lights and within the controlled area. The work and traffic control will take place between 9am and 4pm each day. On occasion we will need to stop all traffic flow to allow the lowering of branches but we will try to keep the disruption to the minimum possible.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused and thank you in advance for your co-operation.
