Wednesday, 14th January, 2009 at 12:50 pm, Isle of Wight

Events, Newport, The Arts, Youth

Quay Arts have tons of things for kids to do in the February half term (more details to follow soon), but one workshop that really jumped out at us was the ‘We Are Robots’ session.

We Are Robots: Quay Arts Kids WorkshopArtist Christopher Jenkins is holding a workshop on Friday 20 February between 10am – 2.30pm creating the next generation of robot personalities from all kinds of household appliances and found objects.

If you’ve seen Christopher’s work before, you’ll appreciate that he’s a master at this kind of thing, so should be able to inspire and educate your kids at the same time.

All materials and tools will supplied but participants are encouraged to bring any objects or bits and bobs, to add to their robot.

The cost for he workshop is £13 and open to age 8 and above.

Call the Box Office to book your place now on 01983 822490 and don’t forget to say where you heard about it.
