Santa Tracker On The Wight

Tuesday, 23rd December, 2008 at 11:23 am, Isle of Wight

Island-wide, Youth

Another Website highlighted on Christmas On The Wight last week was the Santa Tracker.

Now, this is not the Norad version, but something much closer to home.

David and Emma Carrington, providers of the excellent Wroxall Weather Web site, have come up with a novel idea to help get the nippers to bed earlier this Christmas Eve.

The have created a piece of downaloadable software that enables you to track Santa’s journey over the Wight between 7pm-9pm on Christmas Eve.

We all know how difficult it can be getting excited children to bed the night before Christmas, so this clever widget should help, as all children know “he won’t come unless you are asleep”.

Games galore
But that’s not all, in order to keep interest in the site, the team have included several games on the Web site such as spot the difference, a jigsaw game, word search and lots of facts about Santa.

It’s a job well done and we hope that, like us, you’ll log on at 7pm next week to see how close Santa is.

Forecast
The Wroxall weather site also has a White Christmas forecast, which has been dropping over the last week and now stands at just 12% for a white Christmas this year.

Check out Santa Tracker for yourself.
