Christmas.OnTheWight: Supporting Isle of Wight Businesses

Monday, 15th December, 2008 at 12:38 pm, Isle of Wight

Business, Community, Island-wide, Media

If you’re looking around for ideas for Christmas – presents, food suppliers or locations for merriment – Christmas.OnTheWight.com will come in handy.

It’s an online magazine that covers not only Island and Christmas news, but supports Isle of Wight businesses by giving them free listings.

Christmas On The Wight

We decided to compile a list of businesses across the Island who might be useful to you, dear reader, over the Christmas period, whether it be for your search for that unique Christmas present, or details of where to pamper yourself when you need to get away from it all.

If you’re staying in, find out where to buy delicious goodies to feast on whilst you snuggle up in front of the fire, or if you’re a party animal, check out the events section.

We’ll be continuing to add entries (free of charge) over the next week or so, but if you have a business that you’d like listed, just get in touch and you can be added to the relevant category.

Easy to use
If you know what you’re looking to find, simply type the word into the large search box at the top of the screen and click the Search button to the right.

If you’d rather have a look around for inspiration, the list of categories under the search box will drop down to show you what’s available. Simply click on any of them to list the Island businesses under that category.

More useful information is being added every day to help you in your search.

Many thanks to to Simon and David for the design and Bethan and Cinzia for their help in compiling the data.

Great idea. I’m trying to shop mainly with Island businesses this Christmas. There’s some lovely stuff right here – as the site shows. Well done.
