Church Pews For Sale

As part of the ongoing renovations at St Catherine’s Church in Ventnor, the benches (commonly called pews) will be removed after the Christmas services so that the church floor can be completely replaced.

They will not be reinstated but replaced by chairs.

The old benches are being offered for sale to the public at £75 each for small or medium sized ones or £50 for large ones (yes, that is the right way round!).

If anyone’s interested the church is open for viewing during the week between 10am & 4pm or you can contact the churchwardens on 854552 or 863215 for more information.

You must be able to arrange for the benches to be collected between Christmas and the New Year.
