Chimney Fire At Village Inn In Old Shanklin?
Sunday, 23rd November, 2008 at 5:35 pm, Isle of Wight
Thanks to friend of VentnorBlog, Dave Yates for sending through this picture of fire crews attending what looks like a possible chimney fire at the Village Inn in Old Shanklin this evening.

We hope there wasn’t too much damage. Dave mentions that the Old Village was closed off due to the incident, so best to avoid the area for the next hour or so if you’re planning to drive through.
