Ventnor Winter Gardens plays host to the first Folk Rock ‘super-group’!

The Gathering Play Winter GardensThe Winter Gardens takes immense pleasure in announcing the visit of ‘The Gathering’ tour on Friday 28th November, the only stop off for a hundred miles!

The Gathering features a veritable Who’s Who of key players of the Folk-Rock world, whose combined experience and membership have seen them record or perform with some of the most influential artists to grace stages and record collections across the world.

Comprised of former and current members of Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span, Lindisfarne, Magna Carta, The Albion Band, Jethro Tull, and Pentangle, never before (outside of the seminal festivals of folk-rocks’ brightest and finest period) has such a line up drawn from the genres’ most influential bands come together on stage to celebrate their shared heritage of songs and performances!

Jerry Donahue – Fairport Convention, Fotheringay
Rick Kemp – Steeleye Span
Clive Bunker – Jethro Tull, Pentangle
Ray Jackson – Lindisfarne
Doug Morter – Albion Band, Magna Carta

Tickets available now at £15 advance or £17.50 on the door. This show is the only date on their extensive Autumn tour within 100 miles – book early, we expect a sell-out!
