Quay Arts proudly presents Elizabeth Kenny, one of Europe’s leading lute players.
Expect an exclusive foretaste of her forthcoming solo disc, Flying Horse, named after one of the tunes from the early seventeenth century anthology arranged by John Sturt, “ML Lute Book”.
Composers featured in tonight’s performance include John Dowland, Shakespeare’s lutenist Robert Johnson and the prolific anon.
Elizabeth will introduce the programme and welcome feedback afterwards, giving the audience the rare chance of influencing the solo disc’s contents.
Who will win?
Who will be voted out?
The Audience decides!
