BNP Members List Shows 21 Isle of Wight Names

The 10,000+ strong membership list of the BNP (British National Party) has been published online, containing the names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses.
The list contains details of 21 Isle of Wight residents.
The BNP claim that some of the names on the list are not members, but confirm that the “vast majority of names and addresses” are from the November 2007 members list.
It’s understood that the BNP obtained a high court injunction in April this year halting the publication of the list and they’re in the process of trying to close the blog down that now hosts the names.
The Nationals are covering the story tonight, with The Telegraph stating that Lancaster Unity broke the story originally.

why be suprised, and whilst abhorring rascism-for obvious personal reasons,lol, i have found more hidden rascism in so called ‘respectable’ circles.
I think that this list should never have been published or disclosed although a matter of public record should be a matter of all political organisations.
To be frank, as a proud English Nationalist one can see the attraction – particuarly since the traditional values and support base of the Labour Party was usurped by the financial prime-movers of ‘New Labour’ which has resulted in the alienation of the traditional white working class who have had to suffer the consequences and displacement and excaccerbated and very real worries of unemployment due to the import of recent EU cheap labour and further threat of the EU Blue Collar scheme, a supposed ’skills’ shortage at the same time as the introduction of loans and fees for higher educatyion was bound to increase this – the continual decrying of flying the flag and press and associated bourgeoise ‘demonisation’ of the working class in tone and consequence re-attitudes to assumed ‘criminality’ even in supposedly ‘progressive’ papers like the ‘New Statesman’ and a trivialisation by the mindset and exploitative tendancies of the mainstream t.v. and production companies – together with a materialist advertising financial status mindest opined by the leisure sections of the predominantly scions and ownership by very wealthy individuals and the supra national – yet socially narrowly conservative mainstream press and need for profit and assuagement of the middle-class electoral and semi-professional readership and ‘aspiration’.
Indeed, British Jamaicans and West Indian’s experianced much simular treatment and ‘demonisation’ during the 50’s, up until the blatant prejudice that caused the youth to rise up and stand firm which is why the youth of Britain today is generally patriotic yet inclusive of all colurs and is expressed in language and mores than the establishment and commerce has tried to unsuccessfully brand and copy without any real understanding fir the most part in terms of senior offialdom nationally.
The BNP website belies their appeal by pretty ignorant and irrationality and certainly has some odious characheters – given this irrationality and tie-ups with rascist euro- groups who hve’nt bothered to grow up yet-sadly.
However, mainstream politics on the one hand is seen to ’sell out’ vast numbers of people within the industrial heartland and new arrivals have of course made the IOW a refuge for older, though not necessarily rascist -as i don’t think a lot of people think they are but certainly rascism needs constant awareness of -as does a shared munlti-coloured – but not necessarily multi-cultural English Nation.

The actual figure of ‘members’ is inaccurate. The list is current, but not updated as it contains names of ex-members and even members who have died and members who were expelled last year after an attempted coup..
The list is used to bolster the membership figure for publicity purposes…whereas the membership (and money in the coffers) is actually on a downturn.

Personally , as a conformed aethist- we are best off as a secular nation without religeon-particuarly those of an ‘organised variety’ and dogma,imo, imposed by economic supra – national interests, though private freedom of belief is personal to the individual – that belief has no right to impinge or proscribe the actions or rights of others. Surely ,by definition and with regard to equality,bullying, racsism,tolerance and social inclusion – then most, if not all organised religeons promote exclusivity of each other and proclaim non-recognition per se of ‘heretics’,'infidels’,agnostics and aethists such as myself?
For a truly cohesive and modern English Nation we must commonsensely adhere to secular principles regardless of and which does not discriminate against or impinge the right to privately held personal beliefs.
The inalienable rights of the generations of our nation to come and making sure we leave the earth in a better place, than we found it is paramount as is respect and rememberance to those who gave their lives in ensuring we have those human rights. Surely by rememberance and belief in our fellow men and women is commonsensely love and remains within both rationality and practicality since this belief does not demean our countrymen and women – surely this collective belief in each other is our Nation and for better or for worse who we are and would wish for ourselves better for the whole generations to come, as one Nation indivisible – we look after and nurture our own first, to be rationally able to practically assist others with and of ,humanity.

Of course you wouldn’t say this comment with out it being factual other wise it could be seen as…..well …..Unfair? Rude…maybe. Racist…. no not you Minty ;-)

The Brummies I know are of an age when the Specials were about and have far more contempt for the BNP than I have.
I think what is is aiming at is that they are mostly ‘overners’ and using ‘Brummies’ as a colloquelism ( I new I shouldn’t attempt a big word)

Did anyone else see the BNP advert in the County Press a few weeks ago- in the middle of a section about the young? Disgusting. Also, am I the only one who doesn’t understand what the flippin’ heck some of the other posts on this subject mean? My brain hurts!
There are certainly a lot more than 21 racists over here but maybe their applications were lost in the post because they couldn’t spell BNP?

There’s been a whole lot of ranting going on about this subject and, for the most part, one-sided. Isn’t anyone going to chime in with some nasty stuff about the other parties? I’m quite sure there’s plenty of it or does everyone think the other parties and their members and supporters are whiter than white (whoops, careful – just a colloquialism you understand).
kj, I thought that it was the labour party which came close to bankruptcy recently and has seen its membership drop dramatically. I’m obviously reading the wrong newspaper (makes mental note to start reading the Guardian, well perhaps not, I’m not that crazy yet).

Fof P..I think you miss the point..the subject is the BNP, not anybody else…I’ve seen the account books for the BNP (they were ‘leaked’ too) and it ain’t pretty. If not for a donation by a Scot, RWB awould have bankrupt them.
There are wrong people in all the parties, but not as many as the BNP. Its one sided because it is one sided. Gordon Brown and that other bloke have never been convicted of racism. They don’t deny the holocaust, the 10 top member sof the cabinet or the opposition have not been to jail for racism and violence..this is a quote from Mark Collett..head of publicity, sometime youth leader on TV for Channel 4 “Mark Collett (head of publicity) admitted on a Channel 4 documentary in 2002 that Hitler was his hero, that he found images of saluting Nazi soldiers ‘inspiring’ and that he would prefer to live in Nazi Germany than in today’s Bradford or Oldham. ‘Yes, I am a Nazi sympathiser,’

Yes I am on that Map, But.
I have been a member of the Labour party, the Conservative Party, Green Party and was a member of the BNP. The only Party Political meeting I have ever been to was the Green Party, and Dear old David Ike messed that up.
I have in the past stood as Councillor for the Green Party and the Independent Party on the I.o.W. I was very recently elected as a parish councillor for Ashey, which I retired from less than two months ago.
As you can see from all my activities I like to see what the others are doing from the inside.
The only thing that has been evident to me is that I have been hounded mercilessly by the press as an Ex BNP,,, WHY?
I like to have a look around as a free spirit and make my own mind up. But that doesn’t mean I would ever try to enforce my thoughts on others, but, you can’t have discussion without opposition.
If you were to ask for my political views, I could only say not one of the parties has it all and I would like to take little bits from each one.

Rubbish..what right minded individual joins a party without knowing anything about them..unless you are a sheep. It takes five minutes to find the racist rants of Nick Griffin or Mark Collett on the Internet…
Why not just say I joined because I beleived in their speel and when I found the truth, I left.
Or, yes I joined because I believe what the say.
That is your right..in the face of all the evidence, you can do what you want.
You claim to be a councillor and a free spirit…but one that does no research as to the people he pays money to to become a member.
If you have close friends who are ‘coloured’ (“hell my maid is black!!!!”) then your membership of the BNP is a insult to them…you paid money to a man who wants to remove them from their homes.
I have more sympathy for someone who votes BNP as a protest vote than somebody who actually pays the money to be in existance.

What concerns me as an active Trade Unionist is the way some employers – like the Police – are seeking to convert this into a blacklist.
Leaving aside Employment Law this seems to me to amount to interference with the exercise of their right to freedom of association under Article 11 of the European Convention on Human Rights. Further it would be difficult to argue that in accordance with the requirements of paragraph 2 of Article 11, the interference had been prescribed by law and had pursued a legitimate aim. Any member of our Union who is also in the BNP will be vigorously protected should they come under pressure from bullying employers in the same way we would a member of any other Party.
Currently only the Police and Prison Service ban members of the BNP. Such bans have yet to be properly tested by the Courts. Our Union takes the view that there are people of all political persuasions in those services yet only one viewpoint is deemed unacceptable. This is discriminatory. Only if there is actual evidence of wrongdoing should someone be subject to disciplinary procedures. Clearly there was nothing wrong with the behaviour of those listed as working as Prison Officers, policemen etc as there membership came as a shock.
As a Trade Union we will uphold our member’s employment rights and work to ensure that no-one in this country loses their livelihood due to this new McCarthyism.

Being Gauleiter of Soldarity hardly qualifies Harrington as a Trade Unionist, let alone and active one. These matters have been tested in Court eg ASLEF v UK and Potter v Prison Service which Harrington’s outfit lost. How is Clive Potter now, since he split with the rest of Slodarity – a so-called Union that has a double digit membership list. If I were to find my son being educated by a BNP teacher I would damn well want them sacked, you better believe it!
