Quite agree with Wendy. Nodehill had great KS3 results too - ALL the pupils that it put in for them (a year early) passed. I realise that it had some choice in the matter, but it's hard not to be impressed, especially when the council is so busy trying to convince us that Middle schools are rubbish!

We met a parent of two children who have just started there, one of whom had spent his first year at Trinity (as was) but whose sibling was refused entry, so they both ended up at NH (and are very happy).

Nodehill achieved its best ever KS2 results this year, which doesn't tally with the August news items based on incomplete provisional results which suggested a dip.

As formal league tables won't be published till next March (two months later than usual), maybe middle schools should publicise their results here?

Bearing in mind the deadline for responding to the formal consultation on schools reorganisation is just days away (October 10?) it would be good to have a more complete picture available as to how middle schools are doing.
