Community, Music, Ventnor

Did you know that there is somewhere special in Ventnor where you can go to record a demo, rehearse solo, with your band, or just have a go at messing around with music?

Ventnor Youth Centre Music Centre: Calling All Young MusiciansWell if you didn’t, listen up because the Ventnor Youth Centre is just that place and everyone is welcome.

Even if you have no musical experience but want to have a go at trying something, then the highly experienced team at the VYC Music Centre can help.

Ventnor Youth Centre Music Centre

It’s a fantastic space, fully equipped and waiting for you to go and use it.

If you’re fed up with practising in your mate’s bedroom or need some technical advice from the experts, get in touch with with the team at the VYC Music Centre to discuss available session times.

To make things easier and more cost effective, recording is priced per session and include a fully mixed and mastered CD of your track(s) that you can take home at the end of the day.

At the heart of our studio is a brand new iMac with the latest Logic sequencing software, making it the perfect environment for high quality audio capture and midi programming. Our system is also loaded with Pro Tools and Reason. We have a 400watt PA system for practice and rehearsal, and a full backline of instruments, so don’t worry if you don’t have your own!

Contact the team on 852566 or linda.gorman(a)iow.gov.uk or check out their MySpace
