Invent Theatre: New Members WelcomeFollowing the success of the previous term’s workshops, culminating in the excellent production of The Asphodel Fields at Shanklin Theatre in June and the well received writer’s workshop over the summer holidays, the Invent Theatre team are back this term and inviting new members to the team.

The aim of the six week course which takes place at Ventnor Middle School on Sunday mornings (11am-1pm) is to engage young people aged ten to nineteen with an interest in acting, writing or art.

As well as the six week course, there will also be an opportunity to perform, in some capacity, at the Big Day Out (5th October).

If you want to get involved simply e-mail the team at inventtheatre(at)gmail(dot)com or go along this Sunday 11am to Ventnor Middle School. You’ll need to take along a parent or guardian to complete the small permission form.

The cost of the course is a very reasonable £16.50 for the term.

Many of the young people from last term will be continuing with the workshops, but there are a few spaces left.
