Making Waves Tonight

Thursday, 14th August, 2008 at 1:04 pm, Isle of Wight

Unexpected

Don’t forget that there is a show and a half planned for tonight at Ryde Theatre.

Winners of the Bestival Band Competition, The Shanklin Freak Show will be headlining. This will be no ordinary gig, as they’ll be bringing with them mime artists, glitter, strobes, smoke machines, jugglers, fire-breathing, stilt-walkers, evil clowns and Mr Nick Painless.

Also appearing on stage will be Opal Room, Global Citizen and Joe Black.

Guaranteed fantastic performances if, as Roger Regular stated before, you like something other than that in the Top 30.

It’s all part of the excellent Making Waves series. All musicians will be recorded and interviewed by Glynn Taylor for IW Radio, Live and Local Show which is broadcast on 102/7fm Sunday nights 7-10pm.

It’ll only cost £3 to get in and kicks off at 8pm.
