If you missed the buzz about the new Studio Cafe in Newport, make sure that you head down there at some point soon.

Perhaps you’re a mum with kids, planning a trip to Newport for a bit of shopping and looking for somewhere to get out of the heat (or rain) and have some quality food at great prices.

Or maybe you work in Newport and are looking for somewhere different to try for lunch?

Whatever your situation, the cafe, open daily (except Sundays) between 9am and 6pm, is the perfect place to enjoy freshly made food at very reasonable prices.

Fresh Island produce is bought every day from the local green grocers, so you know that you’re getting the best ingredients prepared and put on your plate.

Whilst you’re enjoying a freshly made soup or fresh fruit smoothie you can admire the artwork on the walls by several Island artists – which at the launch party included in the likes of Michael Forrest and David Knight who you might’ve caught at AJ Wells for the Open Studio weekend.

At the launch of the cafe, we spoke to many people that night including a couple of chaps who have both sampled food by the owners before.
