Death in Ventnor: A Taste Of What’s To Come (Video)
Thursday, 31st July, 2008 at 5:49 pm, Isle of Wight
We all know that Ventnor is the new centre of the Universe (sic), and one Island film-maker seems to agree enough to write and direct a film based around our fair town.
As feature length film, Death in Ventnor, nears completion, Writer and Director David George, has been kind enough to let us have a little snippet of what to expect.
From the 20 second trailer, we have to say that we’re very excited about the prospect of this fast moving, full action, murder mystery.
David is keeping the script close to his chest and not giving too much away. Take a look for yourselves. After watching the trailer, we’re sure you’ll be anticipating of the full length film, as we are.

I suppose there has to be a death and a murder to make a film interesting to the masses: ohh, ahhh, bang you’re dead, ug, splat.
I find Life in Ventnor quite interesting enough every day.

Everyday life in Ventnor could be made into a soap opera – the trailer looks very good, look forward to seeing it on the big screen.

@lin – You said “if hes not been cut and on the floor already” – Sounds like a murder! You’re not giving away the plot are you? :)

I see from a couple of the clips that a portion of the film was shot at East Dene .
