Anyone who lives near the Ventnor Youth Centre or walks past it on a regular basis, will have seen the back wall now sports an excellent new mural.
Original plans were for the mural to cover the entire wall, but due to the predicted huge maintenance costs and some other factors it was decided to keep the mural on a smaller scale.
In addition to the mural pictured, there will be several others in the alley at the side of the Youth Centre, but these will be applied onto boards, rather than directly onto the walls.

The design might not be to everyone’s taste, but we’re sure you agree it certainly brightens up a rather dull wall, bringing colour and vibrancy where least expected.
Well done to all those involved in the project, Linda Gorman, Nathan Holt (the artist) and all the young people involved.
