Kaiser Chiefs: Their Kit In Spain Stays Mainly on The Plain

Friday, 13th June, 2008 at 4:01 pm, Isle of Wight

Music, Newport, Overseas

http://www.flickr.com/photos/theedinburghblog/We hear on the newswires that Kaiser Chiefs will be having to borrow equipment for their performance at the Isle of Wight Festival tonight.

It hasn’t gone missing, but apparently their crew and all the instruments, equipment, lighting etc is stuck in the fuel protests in Spain and won’t get to the Island in time.

Being the good sports that they are, they’re committed to carrying on with loaned equipment.

We’re sure it won’t affect their performance and just hope that these beautiful blue skies contonue well into the night.

Well, if they were missing their regular kit I for one couldn’t tell! They were excellent!

I thought they lacked their usual pizzaz and were not very exciting at all, thousands left before the end of the set to get to the Stranglers on time and missed the best gig of the festival so far…Eddie and the Robbers
