All Shook Up thinks that a live band should be more than just pleasing to the ear.

All Shook Up: 50s Rock and Roll BandThat’s why with four men dress in colourful tailored suits. With their shiny “Gretsch” guitars they’ll be looking as if they’ve jumped straight out of a time machine when they head to Ryde Theatre later this month.

Frontman Fritz is not a fan of modern microphones, but he does like to move around.

Often he leaves the stage to dance on the bar or to charm a lady by singing for her through his wireless 50 year old singing iron.

Apart from the greatest 50s rocks ‘n’ roll music – Elvis fans are really spolit – this band makes sidesteps to country and jive.

£7.50/£10 on the door

The band will be supported by none other than Ventnor lads done good,
Bastila. As well as The Maxwells and Chain Gang.
