Continuing the successful comedy nights at Quay Arts with more high quality acts, including Tony Law, Jo Bor and Stuart Hudson.

Tony LawTony Law’s infectious comedy will leave you stranded in a hilarious field of ideas. Half Canadian, half Trinidadian, Tony has been busy working hard on the circuit and creating a buzz for himself as one of the most exciting new comedy propositions around.

His laid back acid casualty approach, combined with scorching jokes and incisive remarks, have endeared him to both live and TV audiences here and abroad.

Tony has performed in New York, Aspen, South Africa, Ireland, The Netherlands and in his native Canada. He is a regular face at the UK’s biggest comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store and Jongleurs.

Along with Dan Antopolski and Craig Campbell, Tony created The Dinks, the acclaimed comedy troupe, which excited both Fringe audiences and critics alike with their inimitable style of slapstick and banter.

Tony’s TV credits include The Stand Up Show (BBC1), House of Fun (Meridian) and Does Doug Know? (Channel 4).

“Hugely entertaining.” – Time Out

Joe Bor is an energetic observational character comedian, whose act consists of anecdotes from working in a school to his impressions of rugby players.

Joe has written and starred in the sketch show ‘Oi Over Here’ which played at The Pleasance Theatre in Edinburgh 2005 and is being developed for TV.

He has acted in many short films for the BBC and written for TV and theatre including Newsrevue(Canal Cafe), The Comedy Business(Paramount Comedy) and Animus(Paramount Comedy).

Joe’s graduation animation ‘My Third Arm’ was screened at festivals around the world including Edinburgh, Cardiff and Berlin.

He has performed at the Comedy Store, Comedy Cafe, Lee Hurst’s Backyard, Mirth Control(various), Downstairs at the Kings Head, Outside The Box,

You don’t want to know what it is that gets Stuart out of the house: just be glad that he does. He had his first gig in June 2003 and on his sixth was placed in the final of Channel 4’s ‘So You Think You’re Funny?’ competition in Edinburgh.

He’s working hard to pay his comedy dues, performing all over the country. His deceptively simple style, startling verbal play and sly rudery is delighting audiences wherever he goes.

He’s already won the Gong Show at London’s Comedy Store and is being invited back to every club.
