The County Press Gets Investigative
Tuesday, 1st April, 2008 at 12:37 pm, Isle of Wight
Well done to the CP for their thorough, detailed approach to reporting the news.

We see on their site today, they’ve managed to bang out two whole sentences on a story about how sunny it is on the Island.
We’ve heard that their next story will investigate the toiletry habit of bears, particularly within wooded areas.

Is it true, Simon, that hell hath no fury like a man kicked off a council press table by two middle aged harridans?

I’m not sure that first sentence makes sense?
‘A survey to determine at the quality of life..’?

Yes, you might think that Paul, but after six months of intensive therapy I think I’ve just about got over it.
You probably realise Paul that we at VB aren’t ones to try and rock the boat – leaving the two lovely ladies to it felt like the best idea.
I’m delighted to say that Charlotte and I are now the firmest of friends (I’m sure).
Kuttle – that’s an unusual name Paul, so unique that Google has never heard of a Paul Kuttle outside Ventnor Blog.
To some, Kuttle might appear a bit fishy perhaps.
BTW – Isn’t harridan a bit harsh?

Well Simon, if I’m not in Google then I can’t exist. You just seem rather hung up about the County Press in recent weeks. What have they done to upset you?
There is a world beyond cyberspace.

Google = existence
Hung up on the CP? – not really, just passing comments on the way that they’re changing.
You must have missed the bits where we sing their praises.
There is a world within cyberspace … as the CP are gradually finding out.

I’m just going to sit here and wait for you to get back.
I know … while I’m waiting … I’ll count the number of routing hops between here and the CP internal servers. Yes, that will keep me happy.
Come back soon.
