Paul Booth Quintet: Jazz At RookleyJazz fans listen up, because tomorrow night sees the last in the current season of gigs being held at The Midnight Bar in Rookley.

The Paul Booth Quintet will be gracing the stage at this great new venue which has proved really successful for the last few gigs.

Paul is currently fronting the Steve Winwood Band and will be playing with Tom Petty on his 2008 US tour.

His appearance at the increasingly popular Rookley Jazz Club will be his third visit in 12 months having performed there recently with Sax Appeal and at the Jazz Café, Quay Arts with his Quintet in 2007.

He is a regular at Ronnie Scotts with both his Quintet and guesting for others.

The Quintet are regarded as a talented and exciting line-up in their own right and includes versatile pianist Mike Gorman, Phil Donkin (bass) and Dave Smith (drums). Mancunian Start McCallum, himself something of a rising star, adds his distinctive guitar style to the Quintet.
