Thursday, 6th March, 2008 at 12:10 pm, Isle of Wight
Camp Bestival, Festivals, Music, Overseas
Following the fantastic The Imagined Village set on Sunday evening at Camp Bestival will be winner of both Brit Award ‘Best British Female’ and NME Awards ‘Best Solo Artist’, the gorgeous Kate Nash.
Her set at last years Bestival touched Rob Da Bank so much, that he just had to have her play at the new sister festival, Camp Bestival and what beter than as the Sunday Headline act.
“One of my most memorable moments from Bestival 2007 was seeing Kate Nash being lovingly pelted with lemons on the main stage when she sung her line about being bitter … I was the first person to play her on Radio One and am a massive fan, so it’s made my day to land her for the Sunday night grand finale at Camp Bestival”.
Her ‘Made Of Bricks’ album has had platinum sales and although she’s only a mere 20 years old, Kate she certainly knows how to woo the crowds.
