Isle of Wight On Working Lunch Again … and Again …. and Again
Monday, 11th February, 2008 at 4:38 pm, Isle of Wight
Bembridge, Business, Food & Drink
For those of you fortunate enough to have time on your hands during the day to sit down and watch the box, you probably saw the week long series of programmes featuring the Isle of Wight last year.
You might remember that Ventnor’s very own brewery and fishery were featured.
Well, it appears that someone on the Working Lunch team is clearly a fan of the Island, as we hear that on Thursday 31 January, there was a feature about Bembridge Outboards on the show.
But it doesn’t stop there, last Monday (4th Feb) there was also a feature on the Garlic Farm.
And today they ran a piece about Vestas Blades and had a chat with the Isle of Wight Economic Partnership’s new Chief Executive Graham Biss.
We have no doubts as to why they love the Island so much and just hope that they keep coming back.
Thanks to the wonders of the Internet you can watch all the programmes again through the BBC website. Not all of the episodes are up yet, but check back in a week or so and they should all be there.
Thanks to Pippa for giving us the heads up on this.
