This is England: Ventnor Film SocietyIf you don’t fancy the Planning Committee meeting tomorrow night, then don’t forget that the Ventnor Film Society will be showing This is England.

Shane Meadows’ almost autobiographical film depicts life for young Sean, a skinhead in the 1980s.

He’s too young for DMs, but still gets the haircut, the plaid shirt and the braces.

If you liked Twenty Four Seven and Dead Man’s Shoes, then Shane Meadows’ latest offering should have you heading down to the Ventnor Winter Gardens for curtains up at 7.30pm tomorrow night.
