As part of the VentBag: Make A Bag, Make A Change project, Lesley from The Ventnorian in Spring Hill is making space for two sewing machines at the back of the shop.
Between Monday 28th January and Saturday 2nd February, Lesley is inviting anyone into the shop who wishes to contribute to the project to come and make a bag (or 2 or 3 or 10!).
They are pretty straight forward to make and there will be instructions and everything you need to hand.
If you don’t have a sewing machine at home, but want to make a contribution towards the goal of making Ventnor Plastic Carrier Bag Free by September 2008, all you have to do is put aside some time and pop down to The Ventnorian in Spring Hill, Ventnor.
