The system can even target borrowers with details of books they may be interested in – based on records of their previous borrowings.
Branch library closure dates are as follows:
Ryde Library – Tuesday, January 29
Newport Library – Wednesday, January 30
Bembridge Library – Tuesday, February 5
Cowes Library – Tuesday, February 5
Freshwater Library – Tuesday, February 5
Sandown Library – Tuesday, February 5
East Cowes Library – Wednesday, February 6
Niton Library – Wednesday, February 6
Shanklin Library- Wednesday, February 6
Ventnor Library – Wednesday, February 6.
Isle of Wight Council would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused but assures customers that the training will allow staff to provide an even better service in future.
