Goodleaf Tree Climbing Win Green Island Tourism Award
Monday, 12th November, 2007 at 11:04 pm, Isle of Wight
Congratulations to our friends over at Goodleaf Tree Climbing who have just been awarded Business of the Year 2007 by Green Island Tourism, the Isle of Wight’s Sustainable Tourism Network.
We’ve been raving about the guys over at Goodleaf for sometime now and reckon they do a fantastic job of contributing to the amazing activities that we on the Island and those visiting can get up to.
If you were wondering what on earth Green Island Tourism is (apart from the fact that the title states the bleeding obvious), it’s a “programme aimed at developing a more sustainable, environmentally sensitive tourism industry on the Isle of Wight”.
On the face of it, Green Island Tourism seem to be doing a pretty darn good job too.
To find out more info about Green Island, check out their website and note that we’ll be bringing you more info on their work soon.
If you fancy having a go at tree climbing, take a look at the Goodleaf website and don’t forget to tell them where you heard about them.
Congratulations once again to Paul and Ab at Goodleaf, we’re really chuffed you’re getting the recognition you deserve.
