Having the ‘From the Archive’ function (found in the right hand column under the weather forecast) is great for revisiting old articles.
Considering how long we’ve been going, there’s quite an archive and it’s interesting to see the variety of pieces that pop up from either one or two years back.
One year ago today, we published an article about the fantastic Ventnorian shop in Spring Hill. We’re pleased to see that it’s still there, but as always at this time of year, once the holidaymakers have disappeared many of the small independent shops can struggle to stay afloat.
As many people like to start buying their Christmas presents early, rather than saving up for a splurge a few days before the event, why not pop along to The Ventnorian and check out their brilliant stock.
The shop is bulging with all manner of wonderful gifts for all ages, the majority of which are ethically produced. They also stock an extensive range of organic goods at very keen prices as well as lots of local artwork, jewellery etc.
Open Mon-Sat 10-5pm, take a trip down to The Ventnorian (on Spring Hill opposite central carpark) and find out for yourself what all the fuss is about.
