The Bees Beach Soccer Team Win National Championship
Friday, 24th August, 2007 at 3:21 pm, Isle of Wight
Well done to Island beach soccer team, The Bees, who once again have managed to take the title in the English Super Final as National club champions.
They certainly made up for missing out on any trophies this year, as they will now be representing England in the European Club Tour next summer.
The English Championship has only been running for five years, and The Bees have managed to win the title every year so far.
Steve Porter, The Bees Captain, said “It’s been a tough season for the Bees this year, and after letting the Premier title slip, we were determined to be crowned national champions once again, this is the big one and we are delighted to have won it again”.
Well done to everyone involved, especially our Ventnor lads (pictured is Ventnorian champ, GC Giancovich).
