Three Cheers For Ventnor Girl Jaide Gaile

Three Cheers For Ventnor Girl Jaide GaileThey say that teenage years can often be the hardest. Feeling comfortable with the way that you look as your body changes, can be a real struggle for many.

So, to hear that a 15 year old Ventnor girl (NOT pictured left) made the decision to shave off her elbow length hair in order to raise money for a children’s charity, reinforces that there are some wonderful people out there.

15-year-old Jaide Gaile raised £800 for the Naomi House Children’s Hospice in Winchester last Saturday. Apparently, fifteen people made donations to take part in the head shaving at St. John’s Church Hall in Wroxall and young Jaide is now completely bald.

So if you see her around town (and she shouldn’t be hard to spot), make sure you give her a cheer (or stick a fiver in her hand to put towards the charity). Maybe Britney can take a leaf out of Jaide’s book and donate some of her millions to the charity too?
