Bestival Bands Competition: Only A Few Days Left

Wednesday, 27th June, 2007 at 11:48 am, Isle of Wight

Music, Ryde

Bestival 2007As we reported a couple of weeks ago, response to the Bestival Bands Competition has been great so far.

As you can see from the photo, Rob (and Arlo) have been kept very busy!

If you want a chance to play at the best Festival of the year, and you haven’t sent your demo tape in yet, get a move on, because you’ve only got until 6th July.

What you need to do
Bands, send your demo on CD format (no eight-track cartridges please) to the address below. Include just three tracks and ensure the first one is your favourite.

DJs, submit a 30 minute mix CD to the same address that clearly illustrates the tunes and skills that could rock a Bestival dancefloor.

Competition Address
Bestival 2007 Island Band & DJ Competition
25 Denmark Street
London
WC2H 8NJ

Entries are non-returnable and must be received by Friday 6th July

The chosen few will get to battle it out on stage at Ryde Theatre on the 19th July when the panel of esteemed judges will decide which band and which DJ get to play at Bestival this year.
