Bestival: Beastie Boys Double Whammy

Thursday, 29th March, 2007 at 11:36 am, Isle of Wight

Central Wight, Festivals, Music

Beastie BoysWhen we told you about the Beastie Boys playing two sets at Bestival this year, I expect you were wondering what the second one would be.

Well, we can now reveal that as well as headlining on Saturday night, the Beasties will be braving the Sunday afternoon Big Top crowd for an exclusive one-off instrumental show.

Rob da Bank has his tuxedo at the dry cleaners and Bestival HQ recommend you do the same. I guess I’ll have to brush down my cocktail dress!

And what do the Beastie Boys have to say their forthcoming special show……

“Its gonna be sick!”

If you still haven’t bought your ticket (and why not?) then you can get yourself a weekend of joy from :

Generation (Newport)
Robin Hill
Jazz Festival Office (Ventnor)
Wightlink – Ryde Pier Head
Red Funnel – East Cowes
IOW Tourist Offices (Cowes, Newport, Yarmouth, Ryde, Sandown, Shanklin) or call 01983-813-813
Bestival and Ticketline (24hr) 0870-066-7753
