Wight Source Music Courses
Tuesday, 11th April, 2006 at 2:32 pm, Isle of Wight
Many in Ventnor will already know Andy Jones (aka Randy Bones) who has been DJing and producing music for over 18 years.
He’s been pretty successful in his field, and a number of his releases can be found on independent record labels. Over the years he’s built up a repertoire in Electro, Jazz, Funk, Deep House, Ambient, Drum and Bass and many others.
Anyway, Andy is now running Wight Source, a community based music Website and new courses in Music Technology are starting at the end of April.
As he says on the site, if you fancy yourself as the next Fat Boy Slim or James Brown then go along and learn how to create your very own track using state of the art recording equipment.
So whether you’re 19 and want to produce Drum & Bass or Rock, or 60 and still harbour that desire to be a music producer, he has an OCN Accredited course for you.
Full details of what’s covered on the courses can be found at www.wightsource.com
The courses are not being held in Ventnor yet (but with enough interest could be in the future), but in the meantime, you can choose from Ryde, Cowes or West Wight.
RYDE Youth Centre – Monday 24th April – 1.30 to 4.30pm
COWES Youth Centre – Wednesday 19th April – 1.30 to 4.30pm
WEST WIGHT Adult Training Centre – Monday 24th April – 7.00 to 10.00pm
There are limited spaces available, so be quick & book your place. Call Andy on 07977994018 or email courses@wightsource.com
