Ventnor Poetry and Short Story Afternoon …

Thursday, 23rd March, 2006 at 12:29 pm, Isle of Wight

Community, Writers

If you’re at a loose end this Saturday afternoon and fancy something different, head down to the Community Projects.

Members of the Neighbourhood Learning in Ventnor poetry and short story courses will be reading work they have completed during the last term.

This will include many of the excellent 101word stories, as published on the blog last month.

Ventnor Community Projects
1 Albert Street, Ventnor
Saturday 25th March 3pm-5pm
Tea and cakes provided … no charge!

If we get permission, we hope to record the event and make it available here, so if you can’t make it down, check back next week.

Thanks to Hannah Ray for the superb image of smiles above.

A full house, despite the rain. All seats taken.
It was recorded by Gloria, and all in all a really nice way to spend a couple of hours in good company and be able to listen to such talented writing!
