Bethan Christopher is Eggaporting To The Amazon

The Arts, Writers

Bethan ChristopherOne of the things that attracted us to Ventnor was the proliferation of creative talent, and it continues to appear in every corner.

Take Bethan Christopher for example. The lovely, smiley mother of a fellow pupil at my daughter’s school. Every morning we say ‘hello’ and chat briefly, but it was only after a google alert this week for ‘Ventnor’ that I learnt she’s recently published a children’s book, Eggaporting To The Amazon.

It follows the story of Vincent, who after dabbling with one of his grandfathers inventions ends up in the Amazon jungle and comes face to face with the Skugmushers. Sounds like a great story and a cracking christmas present for all those nieces and nephews.

Bethan will be signing copies of the book at Ottakers in Newport on Saturday between 10.30 and noon. Read more about her story in the County Press. Photo courtesy of the County Press.
