Ventnor Brewery Rules ….

Whilst strolling up the north end of the High Street yesterday, I was met by the wonderful malty smell of quality beer brewing. Mmm, what a bouquet.

If you haven’t been past the Ventnor Brewery recently, you might not have noticed that they now have a Beer and Cider Shack which is open to the public. Anyone looking for something different to whet their whistle can walk right in and buy some locally brewed beer and cider and what wonderful stuff it is too.

I strongly recommend you check it out. Apart from dipping into Dad’s homebrew, my only previous dabbling with beer was the odd half pint of Caffreys (I’m a girl, what do you expect?), which is certainly no match for the diverse selection on offer from Ventnor Brewery.

PS. Their Golden Bitter was Golden Camra Award winner for Best Beer in 2002, 2003 and 2004!
